Another Borderlands 2 fanart, and this time it's Angel. She is the voice of guidance for the player-characters throughout Borderlands 1 and 2. Personally I found myself having an emotional attachment to the character (besides Lord Claptrap)

so it would be nice to see more of her on DA.

And I find her attempts to swap swear words really cute

and sometimes she is very hilarious

Art notes

This is another attempt at realism. Hopefully not another fail

. I wanted her to look a little more like Britanni Johnson, but my ability to capture facial impression sucks

I, for seemingly no reason, developed a major emotional attachment to her. She seems like a sick, injured puppy to me.
I'm going so far as to rewrite the whole encounter so she survives.

I just stuck myself and Axton in a blender, took that character, and put him in those situations. He, sacrificing a favorite incendiary rocket launcher, melts a bunch of Eridium and puts it in some empty health hypos. He picks her up and bolts to the nearest fast-travel station. Upon arrival in Sanctuary, he runs to the Crimson-Raiders' HQ and sticks her in a bed and practically orders everyone to take care of her.
He then bolts over to the Eridium merchant and robs him, bringing all his Eridium back there.
He melts some and hooks her up to an IV of the stuff.
The plan is to slowly wean her off the drug, so she can survive without it.
She's out cold for a week, and he stays with her the whole time, everybody thinking "Why the hell does this guy care about some Hyperion-allied Siren?"
When she wakes up, the two develop a father-daughter/older brother-little sister relationship.

Ah angel, poor girl. After the fight and the recorders in arid nexus badlands i wanted to kill handsome jack something awful.

I ended up wasting him with shotgun, felt so good.

in the first i wasn't fond of her, she was sketchy at best and more robotic. In 2 she is more human, that was a nice change.
